Our wonderful Friendly Native Beach Resort is just the place for your play time in the sun. Cool off and relax by the delightful heated pool after your time spent in the sun on our perfect white sand beaches. Right across the street you can enjoy the beautiful beneficial saltwater of the Gulf, collect shells, play beach volleyball, or just soak up some rays! You can also catch the Beach Trolley to discover all or any of the many gorgeous beaches along the way to Clearwater, each one with its own local flair – no two are alike.
You can play some shuffleboard or just sit and have a cool drink, maybe read a book in the lush green garden area that includes a gazebo. There is a barbecue grill and picnic tables for your outside dining!
Charter a fishing boat to do some deep sea fishing, enjoy a party or dinner cruise, or delight in some time on one of our floating casinos (hope you win)! You can also take a sunset cruise into the Gulf – nothing like it! Go to one of our natural habitats – either springs, islands, parks, or one of our protected reserves. The Ocala National Forest is wonderful, as is Lithia Springs. For the adventurous, there is para-sailing Jet Ski and bicycle rental, scuba diving, cave diving, canoeing, kayaking and airplane rides. The list goes on and on ….
Then it’s off to one of our many fantastic beach restaurants for a bite to eat, or order in – your choice. The wide-ranging menu options and types of cuisine are a real variety of flavors! Browse the shops on Corey Avenue, Gulf Boulevard, and John’s Pass Village for those unique gifts and souvenirs.
Don’t miss a trip to downtown St. Petersburg with its wide assortment of restaurants, from 4-star cuisine to corner hot dog stands – they are all mmm good! Downtown St. Pete also boasts various live theater and concert venues. Then there is the Pier, the museums, more great shopping, and plenty of night spots with or without live music.
The day trip possibilities are amazingly plentiful …limited only by your imagination!
